Data Deletion Instructions

You can request deletion of all data Rivae Social holds about you and your business at any time. There are two ways to do it.
Option 1 — Revoke access directly
Instagram. Open the Instagram app, then go to Settings and activity, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites. Find the entry named "Rivae Social" and remove it.
Facebook. Open Facebook, then go to Settings and privacy, then Settings, then Business integrations. Find "Rivae Social" and remove it.
TikTok. Open the TikTok app, then go to Settings and privacy, then Security and permissions, then Manage app permissions. Remove "Rivae Social".
Removing the permission immediately stops all publishing to that account.
Option 2 — Email us
Send a request to hello@rivaetech.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Include your business name and your Instagram handle.
What happens next
Within 30 days Rivae Social will:
- Delete all photos and videos you uploaded.
- Delete all stored access tokens for your accounts.
- Delete your account records and posting history.
- Confirm completion by email.
What may be kept
Some records may be retained where required by Canadian law, such as invoices for tax purposes. These contain business contact and billing information only, never media or platform data.
